Arrived safely at the campsite in Bassenthwaite. Weather’s been a bit of a mixed bag lovely and sunny this afternoon after a rainy journey over. Put all of or our tents up and have thoroughly moved in. Spent the evening in the lake with our water pistols squirting each other and trying to recreate the muddy face picture that’s on the top of our website with mud from the bottom of the lake. Kiaran and Zac took the prize for muddiest faces but we’ll let you judge the winner when we upload our proper pictures to the gallery when we get back.
