Last night at Explorer Scouts we did a Photo Scavenger hunt, armed with a list of tasks and a camera, the Explorers were sent into the wilds of Washington to get as many photos as they could. Tasks included, the whole team up a tree, walking a strangers dog, crossing the road ‘The Beatles Abbey Road’ style as well as shaking a police officers hand, getting the autograph of someone you don’t know and recreating a disney scene and much more. Suffice to say a tremendous effort was made and all the teams did excellently. The general public, when confronted by scouts asking strange requests, were more than willing to help the teams out, proving that being a scout (and asking politely) will open many doors for you.
