This Saturday was spent at Moor House with 800 other Cubs from around the district on our Cubs Adventure Day. We aren’t doing Cubboree this year because next year is the Cubs Centenary so we will be doing a special 3 night Cubboree at the end of May on the Bank Holiday weekend, put it in your diary!
Houghton Le Spring district were doing the Survival Zone which included backwoods cooking, fire lighting, wood turning, bush-tucker trials, woggle making, rope making, camp fire songs, string trail and our base which was tracking. There was also a Science zone, an Adventure zone and a Nature zone, I think that was it but I may be wrong, I spent most of my day in the woods doing tracking with my faithful helpers, Thomas, Karen and Dizzy, thank you guys xx.
