We arrived safely at the campsite after a pleasant trip over listening to everyone’s music choices. The weather was really kind to us,while we put the tents up, and things were sorted in no time at all.  After a short briefing to make sure all of the first time campers were fully clued up about how things worked we cooked our teas. Fish fingers, mash and peas followed by apple pie and custard. While tea was cooking we inflated our floating trampoline, inner tubes and this year’s Scout’s choice toy, the four man dinghy. Then after inspection it was time to head for the lake. This year we are making a film so Mr Lloyd took this shot of the campsite with his drone. All the leaders were impressed with how straight the tents are. We had a couple of hours with the inflateables in the lake before a nice hot cup of soup and bedtime.
