AWESOME night at cubs this week! It was our Halloween party, we had everything from scary three little pigs(yes scary & very very creepy) to clowns, butchers, werewolves… you name it we had it. All sorts of scary and wonderful costumes, it was fantastic. We couldn’t just have one winner of the costume competition, we had four 1st prizes and four runners up because they were so good. Even some of the adults dressed up. I have to say a big THANK YOU to my parent helpers and everyone else who helped make the night run smoothly.
BEFORE THE MADNESS:-
We had seven bases to keep the 40 kids amused for the evening, it took Thomas and I three hours to set it up but it was soo worth it.
1 Eyeball Madness-they had to throw the ping pong eyeballs into a plastic cups while avoiding the cups with lights in. Whoever got the most eyeballs in won a prize.
2 Balloon Pop Surprise-bursting balloons with a set of darts to release the treats.
3 Wiggly Worm Challenge- find as many bugs as you can in the worms(red spaghetti) and jelly to win a prize.
4 Pin the Internal Organs on the Skeleton- speaks for itself really.
5 Apple Bobbing- traditional game with a twist. Flour Surprise- to go with apple bobbing, find the sweet treat in the flour… yuck! Malteser Tease- transferring maltesers from one dish to another using straws.
6 Spiderweb- throwing paper balls at the sticky spiderweb, if you hit the spider you win a prize.
7 Bottle Bashing- knock the bottles over with a tennis ball attached to your head, the ball is in the bottom of a cut off pr of tights you wear on your head, it dangles down and you have to knock the bottles over with it…soo funny!
It was such a fun, busy night, check out the pictures!
