We had the best time ever this weekend at Wild West Cub Camp, there were cowboys and Indians as far as the eye could see; leaders and cubs all joined in with the cowboy theme with gusto and it was fantastic to see so many happy smiling faces despite the rubbish weather. Our 21 cubs all had a great time and were thoroughly exhausted by the time we left on Sunday afternoon. I just have to say that the cubs who were first timers did supremely well and settled in fantastically, you wouldn’t have thought they had never been to camp before. When we got there on Friday and all the cubs had had a look round and found out what was going on we all did Line Dancing, it was brilliant as we even had a proper DJ, after that it was supper…..  soup in the rain yum!  There were so many different activities going on over Saturday and Sunday, it was amazing, we even had a rodeo bull one afternoon.  There were different craft activities, archery, saloon bar shooting, giant snakes and ladders, teepee making, the list goes on. All I can say is… Roll on the next camp! woohoo!
