This week we started our Global Challenge theme with cooking, always good fun.We did five dishes Chicken Chow Mein (China), Spanish Omlette (Spain), Spaghetti Bolognase (Italy), Chicken Jalfreize (India) and Chicken Fajitas (Mexico). It was a really good night, everything got eaten. I think most of the cubs enjoyed what they cooked, certainly some of them were tucking in with gusto. They prepared everything themselves and we had no accidents with sharp knives which makes a change, but I think it took them longer to clear up than it did to prepare their food. I was very proud of all our new Beavers for joining in and trying the food they helped prepare.
