We had a really interesting night at cubs this week.  The theme was recycling and saving energy.We had several activities on a recycling theme and one daft game where the cubs had to turn each other on and off  like light switches, there were two energy pigs and their job was to turn the lights on, everyone else had to switch them off, though we did end up with four energy pigs, it was a good run around like crazy game that we started the night off with so got rid of a bit of their energy. We then moved on to a talk about what we do and don’t recycle at home and the impact all our refuse  has on us and will have on our future generations, which are the cubs, we also spoke about landfill and air pollution; we had a quiz a word search and a “whose’ the biggest waster” quiz to see who out of the group was the most Eco wise; we also had a game based on snakes and ladders that we didn’t have time to do.  I have some pictures of landfill sights across the world which I have attached, they are pretty shocking.
