As we are currently doing our Air Activities stage two, we have finished off with a visit to the Air Museum.  It went really well, we had 20 cubs on the day plus adult helpers and leaders so big thank you to them for giving up their time.

It was actually quite interesting today as we got to go in the Vulcan and the new passenger plane that they have just spent the last five months renovating, we were the first group to be allowed on which was an honor.  The gentleman who was our guide was very knowledgeable and to be honest a little OCD about it, it was obviously his baby and he was very proud of it.  Mind you, he has good right to be proud of it judging by the amount of work that has gone into restoring it so far, its not complete yet as it is a work in progress but it certainly is worth a visit.

We didn’t get many photos as my phone died (as per usual) and i’m waiting for some pics to be sent to me from one of our helpers on the day.
