Our first night back after the summer holidays went really well. We had the map of the world out and discovered who travelled the furthest during the summer holidays, we had two that went to America, how lucky they are, a few went to France, Spain,Turkey, proper globetrotters my cubs are. We also had a discussion on who did the most exciting or unusual thing, my personal favourite was riding a camel over a volcano!! How thrilling does that sound. Unfortunately my own summer was far less exciting but never mind, good to be back with the cubs again. We have a very exciting programme right up until Christmas.  We will be starting the Community Challenge and Home Safety badges, as well as doing 1st Aid stage 2 and a few cubs will also be finishing off their Promise Challenge, so lots to do.  We will be welcoming four new beavers into our pack in a couple of weeks too so we will take it easy on them on that night by doing a team challenge, lets see who can make the most interesting structure out of recycled items. Bring it on !!
